Fill a dollar store ice cube tray with hot glue, and the end result is mind-blowing

  1. silicone preferred or rigid plastic
  2. 12 clear full-size hot glue sticks, 4 inches each
  3. 1 standard hot glue gun, high-temp or dual-temp
  4. 1 teaspoon cooking spray, only if using a rigid plastic tray
  5. 3 small bottles alcohol ink, 0.5 ounce each, in aqua, seafoam green, and amber
  6. 1 sheet fine sandpaper, 220- to 400-grit
  7. 1 paper towel, for wiping excess spray or ink
  8. 1 protected craft surface, such as a silicone mat or scrap cardboard, about 12 x 18 inches

Instructions

  1. Set your ice cube tray on a flat, protected work surface and plug in the hot glue gun so it can fully heat. If you’re using a rigid plastic tray, give the wells a very light coat of cooking spray and wipe away any puddles with a paper towel.
